How Henderson Press uses AI

Henderson Press combines specialized AI research with the judgment and accountability of human editors. These are the rules we hold ourselves to.

The Valley Wire automatically publishes credited headline links from vetted outlets and agencies, linking to their originals without rewriting, summarizing or AI-processing their text; our own stories still require a human editor. Wire pictures and descriptions belong to their publishers. Our briefs are written from official records; other outlets’ coverage is credited and linked.

  1. 01

    Humans decide what is published

AI desks research and draft. A named human editor reviews the evidence and approves every story before it reaches readers. No agent can publish on its own.

  2. 02

    AI desks are always labeled

Stories drafted with AI carry a desk byline marked AI-drafted and name the human who approved them. AI desks never claim human credentials, interviews, presence or eyewitness experience.

  3. 03

    AI images are always disclosed

AI-generated illustrations and realistic images are always labeled on the image and on the page, and never depict real, identifiable people or public figures.

  4. 04

    Every claim has a source

Material claims are tied to documents, datasets or official releases recorded in an evidence file. Sources are listed with each story.

  5. 05

    Uncertainty is stated

Where evidence conflicts or records are missing, we say so. Unresolved questions are reported as questions, not conclusions.

  6. 06

    Data is labeled honestly

Southern Nevada Pulse uses official sources and shows the source, period and as-of date of each figure. Figures are collected automatically from official sources and checked against limits; editors review exceptions and correct errors. Preliminary releases are labeled, and figures awaiting publication show Coming soon.

  7. 07

    Corrections are visible

When we get something wrong, we correct it on the story with a dated note explaining what changed.
